Monday - Friday: 1.00 - 6.00 p.m.
Wednesday: 1.00 - 8.00 p.m.
Saturday: 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.

The dai Library offers:

- International Herald Tribune

- German daily and weekly newspapers
- Over 1000 audio book tapes
- Growing section of books on CD
- 650 movies and culturally related documentaries on tapes and DVDs
- Broadband Internet access


User Fees:

Library Card: € 12 per year
Family Membership: € 20
Discount for students and DAI members: € 10.00
Children (3-12 years): No charge.
The library card is not transferable.
Additional fee for videos (€ 2.00) and DVD (€ 2.50).
Books can be borrowed for 28 days, Audio-CDs for two weeks (with two times renewal), videos and DVDs for one week (without renewal).


What kind of materials does the library provide?

American literature and humanities.
There is an extra room with encyclopedia, specialized encyclopedias and textbooks.
We have a big collection of books on philosophy, social sciences, geography and
history.

More than 2,500 Periodicals & Newspapers Online

DAI library customers now have access to over 1,600 online magazines and
newspapers through Academic Search Elite. Members can search for and download
full text articles on topics such as politics, sociology, mathematics, history,
information technology, sports, medicine, psychology, education, law, biology, art,
physics, languages, etc.
