Bibliotheksführungen - Achtung Englischlehrer!
Die Bibliothek des dai stellt einen einzigartigen Wissenspool über die Vereinigten Staaten dar. Zur Einführung in ihre medialen Möglichkeiten bieten wir daher kostenlose Gruppenführungen an. Darin erläutern wir die Angebote der Bibliothek und geben einen kurzen Überblick über die für die deutsch-amerikanische Geschichte so typische Entwicklung des dai. Die Internetbenutzung ist während der Führung gratis! Die Führungen sind besonders für Schüler der Oberstufe geeignet und finden vormittags zwischen 10 und 12 Uhr statt. Sie können auf deutsch oder englisch gehalten werden.

Enthusiastic Readers Wanted...!!
Are you looking for a way to brush up your advanced English skills, or maybe a native speaker hoping to connect with other English speakers in Heidelberg? Are you an incurable bibliophile, or can´t you quite find the time to start anything on your "To Read" list?
Then come join the BOOK CLUB! Once a month we´ll meet in the library to discuss a different book in English. Immersing ourselves in classics as well as current hits, we´ll make our way through all those books you´ve always wanted to read, learning something new about literature and life as we go.

International Women´s Club
The International Women's Club is designed to bring together women of all nationalities in the Heidelberg-Mannheim area interested in speaking English. Social outings will be the primary function of the club, with activities ranging from English movies and theater, operas, dinners, and more.
