Terms and Conditions
1. Registration
We recommend early registration as we work on a first-come, first-serve basis.
2. Cancellation by Participant
Notice of cancellation must be sent to the German-American Institute (DAI) in written form at least seven days before the start of the course. Cancellation by email is acceptable. For teachers, however, it is not possible to cancel courses.
If notice of cancellation is sent less than 7 days before the start of the course, the course fees must be paid.
3. Cancellation by the German-American Institute (DAI)
Courses can be cancelled by the DAI. Reasons for cancellation include insufficient participation or the absence of a teacher.
In cases of cancellation by the DAI, paid fees will be refunded in full. On request, courses cancelled because of insufficient participation can still take place if the participants agree on a higher course fee.
4. Liability
The DAI’s liability is limited to damages caused by intent or gross negligence by its statutory representatives or staff. Any further liability is excluded as far as acceptable by law.
